The Gemstone Escapade is een mini documentaire waarin verschillende bekende en iets onbekendere Nederlandse beatmakers terwijl ze aan het diggen hun ervaringen delen over het zoeken naar samples en wat voor hun doorslaggevend is in dit essentieel onderdeel van het produceren van sample-based beats.Voor The Gemstone escapade zijn de mannen van Bcescapades.com Op 10 juli, 2010 samen met een groep mede producers naar de Velvet Vinyl Outlet in Leiden vertrokken voor een crate-diggers day out en hebben daar tussen de bergen vinyl wat de mannen van Velvet daar hebben staan (over de 200.000 records) de Gemstone Escapade gefilmd.
